Needs Assessment/Requirements Analysis:
- Needs of Organization
- Needs of User
- Technical Considerations
The result of this process is a Needs Assessment that is functionally all encompassing and is ‘owned’ by the entire office. The written product is a compendium of all the ideas gathered.
Market Assessment:
- Assess the full range of possibilities that today’s technology makes available.
- Integrate the knowledge of the environments/platforms in which products operate.
- Includes both hardware and software considerations during assessment.
- Evaluate available products at our facility or yours.
The result of this phase of the effort is a set of products that have
been evaluated and verified to perform the required office tasks.
The Design:
- Vendor independent design - for both hardware and software.
- Approaches include:
- Review an existing quotation/proposal.
- Designing the hardware suite based upon the chosen software and peripheral(s).
- Develop a bid package and evaluate the responses.
- Communications has an ever increasing role and needs specific attention to:
- Local Area Networks (E-mail)
- Wide Area Networks (Internet, Home Pages, E-mail, Access)
- Dial-in and Dial-out modems, faxes.

- Customized training that reflects your user’s requirements and the particular system
- In-house courses.
- On-Site follow-up.
